Secure file sharing, answered

Yes on the sender side. Keep the sending tab open until the receiver finishes (or reopen the same share and re-select the same files to resume). Peer-to-peer transfer needs a live sender peer.

No. There is no sign-up, email, or credit card. Open the page, start a transfer, and send the link.

There is no advertised platform file-size or file-count cap. Practical limits still depend on both browsers, device memory, bandwidth, and network conditions (including NAT).

Yes. Progress can be saved on the receiver; after a drop, reconnect and continue from the last offsets instead of restarting from byte zero — as long as the sender is still sharing the same room.

Yes. Enable password protection before you generate the link. The recipient must enter that password to start the transfer. After three failed attempts, the room expires.

Anyone who needs a private browser handoff without creating another cloud folder: video cuts, archives, builds, documents, and cross-device sends when both sides can open a modern browser.
