Terms and conditions

The rules for using XtremeShare’s free browser-based peer-to-peer file transfer — advertising that funds the Service, optional ad-free plans, share links, passwords, and what you can (and cannot) send.

Agreement

Using XtremeShare means you agree to these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of XtremeShare, including the website, share links, and browser-based peer-to-peer file transfer features (the “Service”).

By opening the site, creating a share, or opening a receive link, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

What XtremeShare provides

XtremeShare lets you send files from one browser to another using a share link. Transfers are designed as direct peer-to-peer handoffs in the browser. We do not offer a permanent cloud folder for your files.

Features may include multi-file shares, optional password protection, QR codes, and resume when a download pauses. Features can change as we improve the product.

You must keep the sender’s browser tab open while a peer-to-peer transfer is in progress. If the sender goes offline, the receive side may not finish.

No account

Access without a user account

You can use the Service without creating an account. That means we do not provide a personal dashboard of past transfers tied to a login.

You are responsible for who you share links with and for any optional password you set. Anyone with the link (and password, if enabled) may attempt to receive the files while the share is active.

Free use & ads

The Service is free; advertising funds operations

XtremeShare is provided free of charge for standard use. You do not pay a fee to open the site, create a share link, or receive files through the Service under the free plan.

To cover server costs, infrastructure, bandwidth, maintenance, and other operating expenses, we may display advertising on the website and related pages of the Service. By using the free Service, you acknowledge and accept that advertisements may appear.

Advertising may be served by us or by third-party networks. We do not control every third-party ad creative, landing page, or offer. Ads are not endorsements of any product or service, and we are not responsible for third-party advertising content, claims, or transactions you enter into with advertisers.

If you want an ad-free experience, contact us at hello@xtremeshare.cloud and request an ad-free plan. Ad-free access, if offered, is provided at our discretion on terms we communicate to you (including any eligibility, pricing, or limits). An ad-free plan is not a guaranteed entitlement of free use and may be changed or withdrawn.

Nothing in these Terms requires us to keep the free plan, advertising format, or ad-free option unchanged forever. We may adjust how the Service is funded to keep it available.

Your files

You own what you send

You retain ownership of the files you select for transfer. You grant XtremeShare only the limited technical permission needed to operate signaling and help the browsers complete the handoff you started.

You represent that you have the right to send the files and that sharing them does not violate law, contract, or someone else’s rights.

Do not use the Service for malware, stolen data, child sexual abuse material, or other illegal content. We may refuse or interrupt use that appears abusive or unlawful.

Acceptable use

Rules for using the Service

Do not probe, overload, or disrupt the Service, signaling infrastructure, or other users’ transfers.

Do not attempt to bypass password protection, scrape private links at scale, or use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others.

Do not misrepresent that XtremeShare endorses your content or organization.

Availability

Service is provided as available

We aim for a reliable handoff, but networks, browsers, devices, and firewalls differ. Transfer speed, resume behavior, and success are not guaranteed for every environment.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice when needed for maintenance, security, or product changes.

Disclaimers

Limits of the Service

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that transfers will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from unauthorized access on devices you do not control. Choose passwords carefully and share links only with intended recipients.

Liability

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, XtremeShare and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim, or (b) zero if the Service was provided free of charge.

Privacy

How we handle privacy

Our Privacy page explains how the product approaches P2P transfer, optional passwords, and operational details. Please read it together with these Terms.

Changes

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date when practical. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
