Large file transfer without the email brick wall
Email attachments fail early. Cloud plans ask for upgrades. XtremeShare is built for moving big packages when both sides can open a browser and stay connected for the handoff.
Start sharing freeWhy large files break classic tools
Mailbox limits, antivirus rewrites, and “file too large” upload errors are everyday friction. A direct browser transfer avoids stuffing the file into email and avoids treating a one-off send like a permanent drive object.
How XtremeShare handles size
There is no advertised platform file-size cap on the P2P path. Chunks stream over a WebRTC data channel with encryption and optional resume. Practical success still depends on bandwidth, device memory, and keeping the sender online.
Practical tips
Use a stable connection. Prefer Wi‑Fi or ethernet for multi‑gigabyte packages. Keep both tabs active. Enable a password if the link will travel through a shared chat. If the transfer pauses, resume instead of starting over.
FAQ
- Is transfer size truly unlimited?
- There is no marketing size cap in the product UI, but browsers, memory, timeouts, and networks can still fail a transfer. Plan for practical limits.
- Can I leave and download later while offline?
- Peer-to-peer needs the sender available. If the recipient will download much later, use a cloud drive instead.
